In general, Educational Blogs are a very useful tool for finding help for your own classroom. You can learn all about amazing and creative ways to organize your classroom, tips for classroom management, and many ideas to make your lesson plans fresh and creative. One blogger that I found that is a great space for teachers, is Leslie at Teach Junkie. She focuses on Kindergarten to Grade 5, provides free downloads for you to use in your classroom, and shares great ideas for lesson plans, and themed activities for all subjects. Another blogger that I came across that peaked my interest is Jill and Cathy at The Curriculum Corner. They share resources to use in your classroom such as games to compliment your lessons. All of their resources are free and printable which is great! They have a wide variety of things to share from ideas for book studies to valentines cards for your students, to free sets of phonics cards. Whenever you are stuck for ideas. this is a great place to go to! Another blog I found was Jessica at The Polka Dotted Teacher. She works with teachers to bring effective uses of technology to the classroom and create fun, interacting and engaging lessons. She also provides great ideas for themed lessons around holidays as well. These are just a few bloggers that I have come across that are great resources for ideas for your own classroom. I look forward to discovering more!
